Kenny's Bathroom

This is my first design studio assignment actually. 

So we have been asked to redesign a bathroom. This bathroom itself is being a real competition.

The owner is Kenny. 

He has small bathroom.

I captured several pictures so you can see his bathroom look like.

The length of this bathroom is 2,7 M and the width is 1,9 M

*It's not only small, but it has high ceiling. 3,2 M!*

So, our assignment is to redesign his bathroom. there's several restriction, like the color of the bathroom should be gentle's color because Kenny is a man, right? 

Also we should think about the ceiling, how we make it look like lower, so the room is not too distorted.

Well, I make 2 designs. but the basic is the same. I put dark color for the ceiling.

so it's like optical illusion. it's like the ceiling look lower.

this is my first design :

*As you can see, I divided the wall. upper side I used dark color, even the ceiling.*

but for lower side I use mosaic tiles. the left side of the toilet, near the wooden shelf, I use mirror.

mirror here is to enlarge the room.

*This is the left view of the bathroom. I didn't use all of the lower side of the wall mosaic tiles,*

because I didn't want to make it so crowded.

This is the second design I made. Well, it's still the same basic. dark color on the upper side.

*In this design, I used gradation mosaic. from the dark until bright. it's like mosaic, right?*

but, It less crowded. because it's gradation, so it will come bright after the dark. slowly but sure
